After hatching, a baby caterpillar devours everything he encounters as he grows and transforms into a magnificent butterfly in this story by Eric Carle. Join us for a reading of The Very Hungry Caterpillar followed by a discussion by one of our naturalists about the magnificent Monarch butterflies and their lifecycle. Children can also make butterfly crafts to take home.

A baby bird goes on an incredible journey in order to reunite himself with his mother in this fun story by P. D. Eastman. Enjoy a reading of this Dr. Suess classic followed by a discussion of some familiar Indiana songbirds and their calls. Children can also make a bird craft to take home.
